Solution
The
mother was the one that locked Santa in the bin. She hit him with a newspaper,
giving him the paper cuts. Also, since the key was hidden on top of the
newspaper bin the person had to be tall enough to reach it. Jake wouldn’t be
tall enough to reach it since he was a little boy.
